Daniel Ryley, Executive Director
Arvada Economic Development Association

As Executive Director of Economic Development, Daniel oversees economic development programs for Arvada Economic Development Association (AEDA), including the organization’s loan and grant funding, business retention, attraction, development and marketing activities. He is responsible for supporting the AEDA Board of Directors, guiding staff on strategy, prioritizing projects and overall leadership of the organization. His economic development team facilitates assistance and services for existing, new andexpanding businesses, property owners and developers that engage with the City of Arvada at various levels.

Daniel’s prior experience to AEDA includes serving as the Director of Business Retention for Adams County Economic Development and previous to that, serving in a Business and Economic Development capacity for Adams County Workforce & Business Center and Arapahoe/Douglas Works! workforce centers. Daniel was born and raised in Colorado, holds a Bachelor Degree in Organizational Leadership from Colorado State University, and earned the Certified Economic Developer designation through International Economic Development Council in 2018. He has a combined eighteen years of economic and workforce development experience, and currently serves as Chairman of the Board for Extended Hands of Hope, a Colorado anti-trafficking organization, and Vice President of the Board for B:Side Capital, a nonprofit commercial lending institution. In 2015, Daniel founded drynkware, a product design company which produces desirable, functional and eco-friendly stirring solutions for consumer retail, corporate branding and special events.
